WEEK 5 SCORES

WEEK 4 SCORES

SPX 52, GDS 44: In a very exciting game, GDS' Samuel Crosby put on his "Steph Curry" in the 2nd half as he hit a couple deep 3's, but ist was not enough to defeat SPX's balanced attack led by Owen Griffith.

Triad 65, New Garden 31: This game was much closer than the final score, as Triad pulled away from a 24-20 halftime lead, thanks to the help of a few bombs from Jackson Hartzell.

New Garden 50, OLG 46:  This was the day's best game, as a newly infused OLG offense almost pulled the upset for New Garden.  OLG'S Cos Pagano was spectacular getting to the rim and hitting his perimeter shots, but New Garden held on for the victory.  Corbin Rush had a spectacular game for OLG, with a couple nice baskets and superb rebounding!

WEEK 3 SCORES

NGF 45, OLG 16: Zach Elliott and Johnathan Hogentoren led a balanced attack for NGF.  Jack Davis and Matthew Ma continue to add firepower for OLG.

Triad 42, St Pius 30: SPX suffered their first defeat as Triad's zone made it touhg for Pius to get into a rhythm.Jack Hughes and Malik Robinson were spark plugs for Triad, while Sam Emerick and Owen Griffith logged some nice minutes for Pius.

TRIAD 53, GDS 37:  Triad finished their days sweep pulling away from a 20-19 halftime lead.  Tyler Albright scored buckets for Triad while Josh Foulks created easy scoring chances.  Ben Jordan and Sam Crosy had excellent games for GDS.

WEEK 2 SCORES

GDS 51, NGF 38: This was a tight game until the last 5 minutes when GDS pulled away.  Jackson McGahee was aggressive on offense and provided the push for GDS to take the lead.  Sam Crosby was excellent pressuring the basketball and guarding the dribble.  For Friends Austin greene hit his first career 3 pointer to keep his team in the game.

SPX 46, OLG 14: SPX's Grady Sherril controlled tempo without comitting a turnover.  Mason Mount provided great help defensively and had a handful of deflections.  For OLG the twins Graves, Patrick and Nicholas, caught fire in the 2nd half hitting back to back 3 pointers.  Matthew Ma provided phyiscal play and hustle for OLG.

TRIAD 66, OLG 13:  Triad played tough man defense to come away with the win.  Tyler Albright put terrific pressure on the basketball, creating turnovers and easy scores.   OLG's Jack Davis was the first man back on defense every time and scrapped for loose balls.  Way to go Jack! Jackson Hall did a good job handling the basketball in the full court.

WEEK 1 SCORES

GDS 54, OLG 9: The 2016 FBS Summer League kicked off with a battle between a seasoned GDS team and a very young but resilient OLG squad.  Connor Ballou scored the games first 5 points as GDS took an early lead and never looked back.  Will Yow had nice contributions for OLG with a couple of buckets and tenacious rebounds.

New Garden Friends 41, Triad 40: In undoubtedly the days best game, New Garden literally hung out to squeak out a 1 point victory. With 2 seconds left on the clock and Triad on the free throw line, Triad corraled a missed free throw and hit a put back before the horn, but the basket was ruled no good as the clock started late. Both teams had multiple opportunties to take the lead in the final 90 seconds, but the teams comined to miss thier last 8 free throws. Friends was sparked by Jonahthan Hogentoren, who was terrific on the boards and provided several key rebounds and baskets down the stretch.  Triad's Tyler Albright was fantastic both with his handles and scoring the rock. We are already looking forward to this rematch!

St Pius 48, New Garden 25:  St Puis jumped to a 15-5 lead and proved to be too much for the Friends, playing their second game.  Pius had multiple guys with baskets and was led by the guard duo of Owen Griffith and Daniel Jones.  Jones was passing that rock and tallied nearly 10 assists!  The Friends Austin Greene was all over the defensive end for Friends and they dropped to 1-1.
